Hoi! Welkom op mijn pagina!
(I’ve reached my Dutch limits. English hence!)
I’m Aniket, a Master’s student from India following the Embedded Systems programme at TU Delft. This blog is my virtual space on the world wide web, and here shall I post a host of things about my life and experiences as a student at the university. It’ll be a mixed bag of posts about a variety of topics, ranging from general musings about student life to travelling experiences to lessons learned through avoidable mistakes, and possibly even more! The human brain is a really fascinating organ, and this notwithstanding it can come up with quite some interesting thoughts. I’ll try to capture all of those in the form of (hopefully) interesting blog posts, and keep updating this virtual canvas accordingly!
A little(?) history:
I was born and brought up in the city of Mumbai, India, where I stayed till I got through my high school years. Just after turning 17, I moved to a small town in North India to attend college (you know how some colleges are located far away from cities in “college towns” for some reason), and graduated from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation (in 2016).
Soon after, I started working at National Instruments R&D in Bengaluru, and got to learn some really important skills while at it (both technical and non-technical), but after about a year and a half of working, I felt that I wanted some more academic depth in my fields of interest. I strongly felt that returning to university education was the way to go about it, and that’s when I applied to a few colleges’ Master’s degree programmes. After giving it some thought, I enrolled in TU Delft’s Master Embedded Systems programme, and now…I’ve caught up with the present. I’m still here.
That’s about it, I guess.
Please feel free to let me know if there’s anything amiss in my posts, or if you really like them. Thank you!
